Welcome to Pinnacle! The Pinnacle staff are excited for the year to come and we hope that you and your children are excited as well! We embark on this journey with a pledge to you, our students and parents, that this will be a year of engaging, meaningful and rigorous work in our classrooms, a culture of mutual respect for all stakeholders, and a plethora of special events, extracurricular clubs, and activities certain to encourage our Patriots to be involved and stay connected. Included in this packet are some things that may be of interest to you as the school year approaches.
Registration
Registration for Pinnacle Intermediate School will be on July 31st and August 1st this year. Please make sure that you have completed your online registration before the registration dates. If you need to complete the online registration at Pinnacle, we will have a place for you to do that. All students need to come to Pinnacle on July 31st or August 1st to complete the registration process. Students coming from a Canyon ISD campus will need the Online Enrollment Confirmation page, Proof of Residency, and driver’s license of the person enrolling the student. All new to CISD students will also need to provide a proof of birth, a copy of social security card and immunization records.
Load the Lockers/Meet the Teachers
This will be a time for touring the campus, finding your locker and classrooms, and putting away school supplies. Look for more information about Load the Lockers at registration.
Pinnacle PTA
The Pinnacle Intermediate PTA is off to a great start with a wonderful leadership team in place but we need you, and your input, as well! If interested in joining the Pinnacle PTA, go to www.joinpta.org. That link will lead you to a page where you can select Canyon ISD and Pinnacle Intermediate and join from there. Attendance Information
Students will report to their 1st period at 7:55 a.m. For our students’ safety, all exterior doors except the main entrance doors will be locked at 8:05 a.m. Students will be counted tardy at 8:05 a.m. if they are not in their classroom. Pinnacle is an intermediate campus which is considered elementary so attendance will be reported daily at 10:00 a.m.

7:25 a.m. – School doors open for students
7:55 a.m. – Teachers pick students up in gym
8:05 a.m. – Tardy Bell
3:20 p.m .– Dismiss for the day
